I enjoyed reading that. You did well with the second-person PoV, making the story a smooth read, and I thought Seamus' issues were well-handled. Thank you for sharing it.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed this, both the second person PoV and Seamus himself. Thank you very much!

I came here via a rec on madam_minnie's LJ, and I'm so glad I did. Your use of second person is amazing here. I love how we can feel Seamus's heartache so palpably. What makes it all the more heartbreaking is the fact that Dean's relationship with Ginny is so real--something fanon tends to forget.
I also like how the feelings don't seem gratuitous at all. What bothers me about a lot of non-canon pairings in fic is that the relationship between two best friends tends to be sexualized for the sake of teh hot, and this wasn't about that. This was about unrequited love, pure and simple.
Wow...I uh, kind of rambled on. Sorry about that! :P Anyway, loved it. Lots.
Author's Response: Wow, what a lovely, lovely review! It sounds like you really got so much of what I was going for here -- Seamus's heartache, the realness of Dean & Ginny's relationship, and all of Seamus's feelings. I'm so glad the 2nd person PoV worked for you. Oh, just... *glee* Thank you so much for your lovely review, I'm so glad you enjoyed this!

Aaah! You can't leave it there! I want more! I want to know how much more happens? I'm completely lost in this story and then... and then... he stays and... and... aaahhhh!!!
I love that you chose to write this in 2nd person POV. It's such a difficult way to write (at least for me it is) and I admire those, like you, who can write it well. This was a terrific read! Thanks, so much, for submitting it to the site!
Author's Response: Awww! <3 But I'm sure you can imagine what happens next, yes? I really wanted to leave it up to the reader to make up their own mind about what happened next. I'm so pleased that you liked the 2nd person PoV -- it's a favorite of mine, and one that I know a lot of people don't like, so I'm really, really pleased to know you liked this. Thank you so much!!
