Wow! Thanks for these updates! I'm ecstatic at your progress, you better work hard! And, the scarab beetle pendant was great because the Egyptian hieroglyph, scarab, actually refers to "transformation" or "to come into being" which directly relates to the current happenings of George and Lee's relationship dynamics, but also indirectly portrays the new feelings that Lee began to have for George upon receiving this gift. Okay, was I rambling or did that make sense? Anyways, great job, and as always, thanks for working hard!

Haaahaa! “—Vegetarian?” his mother shrieked. The horror in her voice snagged him out of his ramble. “You’re not a – a vege?” I can just see Molly looking horrified as she utters these words! OMG I just laughed! Good writing on these updates, I keep saying the truth--you've got talent and your hard work is paying off. Oh, how touching the scene between Arthur and George. This was the best post-DH George fic that I've read thus far! Why? Because this isn't some sad, confused, and lost George who wants to give up and die, no, your George is a close to the "real" thing in spirit and characterization in that he's a grieving, but rejoicing in the fun of life and the beauty of joviality! Plus, I just love the way you worked that bit of George/Lee magic in there....is this a start of a relationship or are you suggesting that something has been going on with them for a while? Either way, I think you should forget the one-shot and move onward with a full out short story! (please) LOL. I'm such a fan, keep it up!

Yikes, I missed this comment ages ago - sorry! I was so sad after reading DH, I wrote this almost immediately (at the same time a little happy that DH made George/Lee a canon possibility) I mentally intended to write something much more mournful because that's how I felt, but then my George turned the tables on me and insisted that life was going to be ok. Especially with Lee.
Yeah, I wasn't too sure myself whether this was the start or something previously started, so I liked it being ambiguous. Thank you!!

At first I didn't know what to think, then I began to understand the rhythm of this one-shot. After understanding, I really started to enjoy the flow. It's very scholarly yet easy to read then suddenly it's captivating and romantic. You end this story with a startling revelation of eroticism yet there's a purity here that I respect. So, yes, well done.
Plus, I love the wrap up of all the character ships that many have enjoyed and imagined including Dean/Luna and George/Lee.
