Hello! I figure since I've started actually posting on here, I should tell you a bit more about me. I'm almost 23, female and from Australia. Got into fandom late 2006 and have been immersed in it ever since. I still consider myself a very novice writer, even though I am getting a few fics under my belt.
My personal livejournal is friends locked, but I'm pretty easy as to who my friends are. I'm definitely not going to reject you, unless you just randomly add me and don't tell me a single thing about you.
Fic journal is charmafics, and there are a few drabbles and such that I've not posted on here - most of it will be ending up here though.

I don't know why anyone hasn't reviewed this. It was wonderful. The relationship between Harry and Draco, while developing fast still held an air of realistic nature to it. I am not a hardcore slash reader, so I was thrilled that it wasn't graphic, because graphic slash isn't something I enjoy, but I still thought it was great, and the balance perfect.
I was never into slash but recently I have found myself drawn to the idea of Harry or Ron with Draco, as long as the characters are written effectively, and it was great to see you hold true to the characters we have all grown to love over the 7 books (ok - fandom Draco is so much better than canon Draco, but I think he could have become something like your Draco).
So yes, well done. I do hope you write more like this.

Your talent astounds me. I'm just floored every time I read something of yours and this is no exception. The simplicity of this chapter was simply beautiful. You took what we had already been given and made it your own, and gave us that Ron POV we miss in the books. This is the best interpretation of the unseen actions between Ron and Hermione in what I have come to refer to as Chapter 23.5 :) Well done.

[Reviews - 20] Summary: In Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince there is a pivotal moment where things could have gone very differently. That is the bathroom scene where Harry nearly kills Draco by accident. Draco is upset that Harry has caught him crying and throws a hex. It escalates and ends in blood. Our story begins with the simple premise of "what if" something changed in the bathroom scene so that Harry and Draco talked instead of throwing hexes. It also takes the assumption of unvoiced attraction between the two. Draco takes a chance and kisses Harry. Once sparked, their mutual desire and exploration becomes the driving force in the alternative ending to that of Half-Blood Prince. Draco's "mission" from Voldemort turns out to be more complex than that presented in canon and their solution even more difficult.

Author's Response: Thanks. Lots more where this came from. It picks up fast, then shifts gears into the plot as the boys get to know each other.
Summary: This is an extended version of Chapter 17 of “Fate of the Generations.” It would make more sense if you read the entire story first. However, if you want to read this alone - it takes place in June after their 7th year. Ron and Hermione have recently become an “official” couple and Hermione is convincing Ron that she was not cheating on him when he witnessed her in a conversation with Draco Malfoy earlier in the day.
