How do you be the child of such parents? By being yourself, of course. That is the realisation every celebrity child comes to.
This is potentially a nice little character piece but it just turns into just a run-down of the PotterWeasleyGranger family. It would have been a lot better if it had more about Elizabeth's life and viewpoint of it.
Nonetheless, a good story with no real technical fault that fits in well with this AU universe.

I find myself wondering exactly how much Harry, Ron and Hermione will rememeber when they wake up (with purgatorial hangovers, of course). Will they leap into this new lifestyle or will the embarrassment drive them apart? Only time will tell.

*Sniffles* Sad, yet life affirming. Even a life wrongly cut short can have great meaning by its end - and by those it touched in its short time.
This was a great story showing a very believable ending to the HP tale. The Patil girls have never really been explored in depth, but I imagine that this is a good insight into the mind of any twin who has lost his or her 'other half'.
Overall, a fine work.

Aw. It's lovely. I mean that. You really get into Hermione's thoughts and how a young person (only 18, after all) might be thinking realising that tonight might be the last night of her life. With that in mind, the touch with socks for Dobby was particularly nice.
Interesting that you do this without any speech whatsoever. It isn't a story about verbal communication - it is a story about feelings and communicating them on a primal level.
Of course, Hermione has probably given Harry something to live for. It is odd that most fanfic writers and JKR came to completely opposing conclusions about what having such close bonds would do for Harry. For most fanfic writers, it gives him something to live and win for. For JKR it gave him the courage to die when it became clear that this is what needed to happen.
Just to add that I've always been a fan of your stories.

An interesting start to the story. It might be one to continue too. How do Harry, Hermione and Ginny adjust to post-war life? Do they try to live on or do they just mourn until they rejoing their loved ones?
The weirdness fan in me sees potential for a unconventional relationship but that isn't absoloutely needed.
All speculation aside, a good introspective emotion piece, although somewhat bare of real detail. For this reason alone it deserves to be continued: to show all the characters' feelings in details and how they cope (or not) in the days to come.
Summary: As Harry's spell meets Voldemort's a blinding light flashes as a wave of power knocks everyone off their feet. When Ron regains his feet, Voldemort's dead corpse lies alone in a blakened circle and Harry and Ginny are gone.

You know, I'm loving this story; It reminds me a little of a classic movie called 'Blue Lagoon'. Without the whole puberty cionfusion thing that seemed to be the point of parts of the movie. :-p
What really strikes me is how Harry and Ginny are happy on their island. Harry never liked being "The Boy Who Lived" and, I think, this self-imposed exile is something far more to his liking than living the life of a public figure in Britain. And as for Ginny? Well, she is happy wherever Harry is.
I have the feeling that we are working towards the final conclusion. I also think that, given the special wand that Dumbledore ordered for Skye (was there ever a moment when the old man wasn't ten steps ahead of the rest of us?) I suspect that her destiny will be an amazing one indeed.
