I'm happy to have finally stumbled across this, and by way of it, its predecessors. I love how in-character and believable you keep the characters (though I have to admit being somewhat taken aback at how Hermione's has deteriorated into just a polarity of screaming or sobbing--and you REALLY hate Draco, don't you?). I thought Colin's funeral--and all the details of thwarting the planned attack--express perfectly how Harry and all the rest of the DA will, for the rest of their lives, probably live in Constant Vigilance.

I do turn Hermione into a nervous wreck in this story. My only excuse is that she’s extremely worried about her parents. She’ll recover, and by the final chapter she will (I hope) be the Hermione we all know. As for Draco, I’m a bloke, and don’t know any male reader of the Potter books who doesn’t hate Draco. I recognise him, and I know what he’s capable of. As for the attack, this is mere days after the battle and there are still a lot of Voldemort supporters free. Things will change, but only slowly.

The last line certainly made me laugh, too. Seems the extreme, maximum Obliviate was used instead of just convincing Marge they were fine and on vacation--or something. But, then, there was no way of knowing how long it would be.
