Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 19
So, now I owe you a huge review, as I've been neglectful for previous chapters. One should never neglect authors who are good to them.
This story is fantastic. I love it. Of course, I'm all Ron/Hermione, and I'm SO into the smut, but there are so many lovely layers here, so much rich characterization and plot weaving.
I still don't completely understand Ginny and Harry's relationship. I mean, they seem committed to each other - I think that was the point of their last love-making scene, but Ginny's still fairly insecure about him (she did as Ron if Harry and Hermione were lovers - of course that was before their last love-making scene). It makes me wonder if she's sleeping with more than one "benefactor." People who cheat are usually the ones who are suscpicious. But if not, I don't get why they're not married. I mean, I've heard their excuses, but they seem sort of paper thin. She doesn't want to saddle him with her "kids?" Really? He's too caught up in work? His work sounds a lot like a desk job, really. Ron's the one with the uber dangerous job, and he was ready to marry and raise a family an hour after he found out he was a father.
Also, I'm still hacked off at Hermione for keeping Philip a secret. I'm with Ron on that one. Women like that should be shot, as far as I'm concerned. Having said that, I LOVE your complex, grown-up Hermione. And I love that she's living Muggle-esque in France. And Philip is just a charmer.
I still don't know where you're going with the twins. Can't figure out how they'll play into the over-all story arc.
