I don't think this songs fits for only the older readers. I was on the edge of my seat after Harry knocked Ron out, and waiting for a bigger argument than I got. Guess Ron mellowed out over the years. I like how the end shows Harry's reluctanct acceptance of the fact that they WILL eventually age and time will pass, while Ron, as is his way, seems in denial of it while at the same time showing of his not-so-subconsicous insecurities.

I remember what it was like when my eyesight got worse, at just 15. My mom used to joke and say 'Just means you're getting old.'

The title fits the story very well and the anticipation of waiting and not knowing what's actually going on until the end is something I will always love about a good story. This one was simple, and yet also had the drama that just seems to make life interesting while driving you insane at the time. The anecdotes you bring up when you're old and sit in rocking chairs on your front porch. Great job.

Excuse while I laugh my ass of at the last line.

Loved it. Like the premise. Love Golden Trio-love. NOthing more perfect than all three of them together. And this story is vivid, descriptive, interesting, unique, and wonderful all around. Can't wait for the next chapter. ^_^

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm just so thrilled that you're enjoying this! You're very kind, andI thank you.

This chapter was even better than the last!

Molly is so predictable. I knew she was going to freak out and blame it all on Hermione. She's just too much of a crazy overprotective mother. But you wrote it wonderfully, because she was able to snap herself out of it and of course Arthur just kinda waists for it to blow over. Mr. Granger seems a lot like him.

Little sex scene was hot and strangely syncranized in a rather hot way. Golden Trio forever!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you're enjoying this. I agree, it didn't take the AmazingKreskin to know that Molly would lash out. I also admired her ability to listen to her son, and actually think about what she'd said in her desire to strike out at what she felt hurt her.
And I'm just thrilled you found the Bath scene hot! Thank you very much!

Hilarious. Glad I never had to have that talk with my parents. Poor kids. Even if it was a great read.

The only question that I have about this is how things are going to develop between Harry and Ron. They both love Hermione and are willing to share her, but will the problem of inequality between them come up? Will one begin to feel ignored by the other in favor of Hermione? Thankfully, because of the spell, if one of them feels that way the other would find out eventually because they can't get away froem one another, but I still wonder if the problem will ever arise.

Other than that, I'm loving this story more with every chapter and how realistic it all seems, and can't wait to read the next one. So I'll be waiting. ^_^

Author's Response: Thanks for the kind words. I'm so glad you enjoyed this.

Things are going to develop between Harry and Ron, but slowly. They're blokes, who've generally thought of
themselves as straight. It's going to be hard for them
to make the leap to being sexual with one another.

On the other hand, it's also going to be impossible
not to make that leap. They are, after all, participating mutually in sex with Hermione.

I don't think inequality or jealousy will come up as an issue, though. Harry and Ron, after all, are used to working as a team.

I'm so glad you're having fun with it. I can assure you that the next chapter is all beta'ed and ready to go, but you'll be waiting a week. I'm trying to stick to my "One Chapter Per Week" upload schedule, so that I keep well ahead of my writing, since I do sometime go dry for days at a time.

This chapter was sweet and realistic. Ginny is rather immature, but you can see that she is definitely growing up. The comment she made about Dean was kinda proving that she wouldn't even know what to do with a real relationship if she had one, since she was so hung up on Harry that she couldn't see Dean as more than 'something to do'. Maybe that's a little harsh of me, but it did seem that way. Like I said, it does show she's also growing up because she realizes that she can't hate Hermione for what she did and she needs to learn to let go.

The nightmare/wake-up scene was sweet. I makes me want to shove it in the faces of people who somehow always turn Ron into this bad guy that is too jealous and hateful towards Harry. And Hermione finally got to get in on it, because I bet she was probably just stewing in her room some nights about why she couldn't be there to comfort Harry like Ron could.

I loved the scene with Remus, Sirius, and David the most. Three guys in their forties just sitting around talking about kids who were -their- kids, literally and figuratively. Yeah, the old complimenting the new. Something that only really happens when the 'new' aren't around to hear it and get bloated heads.

Great chapter. They just keep getting better. ^_^

Author's Response: Hmmph! TQP is getting bad habits from LJ! It just ate my response!

Thank you so much for the very kind review.

I view Ginny's relationship with Dean a little more charitably than you do. They're having a perfectly fun teenaged relationship, dating, a little snogging, but neither sees it as "True Love." Ginny's just self-aware enough that she knows that what she feels for Harry was more and stronger than that.

Ron's always had so much love for Harry, and so much generosity towards him, so of course he's there for him in his terrors, too. And you make a great point about Hermione getting to comfort Harry. I'll be stealing that for later use, if you don't mind!

And the late-night boys club is one of my favorite scenes as well. Sirius walks away with it, as he always does, but I really like David's quietly unflappable demeanour and uncommon decency.

Thanks again for the very kind words. I really do appreciate them.

YES!!! I haven't realized this was updated, but I'm really happy it was.

I bow to Hermione and he compassion, which I'm not sure I would have been able to give. Although I would like to think I would. I don't know who I feel more pity for, Dudley or Petunia. Dudley was raised by his parents to be a spoilt, useless brat, while Petunia seems to fester in her own feelings of jealousy, guilt, and inferiority. Been a long time since I read HP&SS so I'm not sure if it's because her parents treated them differently or just her own doings.

GO SIRIUS!!!  Raunchy, sexual jokes/innuendo are so much fun. And Remus knows too many corny, not-really funny jokes. Poor Remus...too old before his time... Sirius really should 'whip' him back into shape.

And Dumbledore is being more cautious this time than he is in HBP. Good, because that kinda ended up with him dead. The chapter just had so much I loved about it that I can't really name it all. This story is simply perfect. ^_^

Author's Response: I'm trying to update every weekend. I still ahve three more chapters in "backlog" waiting to go up, and a fourth I'm mostly through writing right now.

I'm not sure that Hermione's compassion wasn't sparked as much by Sirius' words as by Dudley's reactions. She, too, then saw a Dudley who for a moment cared about somethiing more than himself.

It's my firm goal that Sirius will re-awaken Remus' inner Marauder. Remember, there's a young, atttractive, fun-loving, spunky witch who Sirius knows wants Remus very badly, and he's got his godson's example right in front of him. You've gotta know Sirius is one to see the possibilties there!

And the chapter I mentioned I'm sorking on? One thing I'm covering in some depth is how Regulus' notes change Dumbledore's approach.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this! Thanks for the great review!

You know, these three tend to act quite a like, always hiding their problems. And while Ron makes sure Hermione gets her treatments, he conveniently forgets to mention his own.

The ending was great!! I love it. I was laughing so hard I started coughing. I do hope one of them gets fed up and put Vernon in his place. I know it would have consequences, but he deserves it!!

Poor Ron. It seems that this isn't going to be easy for him, with the precautions that Madame Pomfrey is taking. At least the Harry and Hermione will be there for him.

Author's Response: Thanks for the kind words. You're completely right that each of them, in their eagerness not to be a burden to the others, withholds the things their friends would most want to know.

You will have a hope met with the next chapter, and a fear realized. It is indeed going to be very hard going for poor Ron, nor for his friends.

This was so perfect. I love how Dudley is slowly staring to 'wake up' about everythin that is going on. I think Petunia spoils Dudley not so much because she hates Harry, but because she felt neglected as a child in the shadow of her 'perfect sister'. Now I fully believe that Vernon does it to stick it to Harry and perhaps Petunia does it to as a way to get back at her sister as well. But Dudley is beginning to think for himself, rather than just being the spoiled, bully of a son that his parents created.

Ron... I don't know if I can properly convey all of the emotions I felt while reading that scene. The pain all of them were going through was so obvious and their bond with each other was so strong. Nothing was going to really make it any easier, even though it had to be done, and the last part, of Ron being the one to kinda put them back together in the end was rather sweet. I truly love this fic.

Author's Response: Oh! What an overwhelmingly lovely review! Thank you so much.

In truth, I think the Dursley's treatment of Harry and Dudley is an artifact of the fact that JKR wrote "Philosopher's Stone" aimed at the age-level she did, and without knowing she'd ever have a chance to write more. Working on that level, it's easy to see that she wrote teh Dursleys as the "Ogres" of young Harry's world, and as such, they work beautifully. But as teh books grow up with their readers, it's harder and harder to reconcile the Dursley's behavior with rational adults. Some sort of mental gymnastics are required. The "Ruining Dudley to hurt Harry" thing was mine, but it's certainly not the only theory.

I can't tell you how proud I am of the potion scene. I wrote it as a present for my friend, Sarah Enany, who writes great hurt/comfort at Fanfiction.net under the name PutMoneyInThyPurse. Her review of it on my LJ literally
changed my life, in ways I can't begin to explain.

So I thank you very much for your appreciation of it. I will always love that scene.

Okay...three...two...one...*deep breath*

SQUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!

That was to cover base on all the squeeing I haven't been able to do for a while. I am so in love with thi story that I can only jump up and down whenever I see a new chapter has been posted. This past chapter really just made me go "OMG LOVE" because the Trio is so honest and caring towards one another. And then Eloise died and Hermione and Harry were all "I'll remind you not to blame yourself if you do the same for me" and Ron was like "I'll do it for both of you" and I could only fall into a puddle of angsty-love mush. That's wht these three do to me. Or at least that's what the way YOU write them does to me.

The Grangers are on the lamb, Hermione starting to get really close to Sirius (whose coming off looking like a MEGA-flirt...but I love Sirius that way) and lots of background things are going on. Like the Regulus/Horcuxes and the Trio's healer training.

I lover how well you're keeping everything so bundled together, like most of it is connected, while some of it is just the by-product of life in general. It's realistic. Not everything that is going on is part of some great plot by one party or another.

And Tonks was perfect. I can definitely see a great side-threesome for the future. ^_^

Author's Response: Oh, so glad to see you back! Your reviews are always a thrill for me, and I've really missed you.

I'd love to boast to you how all this takes careful pre-planning. How when I wrote Chapter Six, I was planning on Chapter Nine, where Ron's Evil Potion can destroy horcruxes, and on Chapter Thirteen, where their healing training would come into play. I'd love to tell you that, all studly and writerly and on top of my material.

But, in fact, I'm lucky if I know what's happening two chapters out, and even chapters I'm actively writing can surprise me. This one was titled "Yes We're Going to a Party, Party" until I realized it was time to post it, and was intended to be a couple of Healer-Training scenes to kill time until Harry's Birthday, and then the birthday itself.

But the chapter had other plans for me.

Thanks again for the great review, adn I'm bery glad to have you back!

O.O

That was...*wipes drool off face*...HAWT. Yes it even deserves the misspelling. Why? Because it was just...*drools* Now I'm just wondering when the LAST step of that little relationship is going to take place.

Ron and Harry kissing was kinda like the next level for me, even more than the unbelievably HAWT first time scene, because it's showing how their relationship with each other is changing, rather than just their relationship being tangent to the one they have with Hermione. I definitely look forward to the culmination because it will definitely make things a LOT more interesting for the three of them. (And they can get tips from Sirius and Remus ~_^.)

I love the progression of Dudley. Not something that occurs overnight, but a definite progression from the sniveling, spoiled rotten, waste of human flesh that he had been. The side-plot of Remus/Sirius/Tonks is just *squeals* because it's opposite of what the H/Hr/R are going through. Tonks and Sirius are having to coax Remus into rather than them being together and everything just "being" there. (Sorry if that doesn't make sense, it does to me...somehow.)

Here's my favorite scene from this chapter:

Harry and Ron both spun to stare at Hermione, and Ron said, “Look, Tonks, the fact is, the two best words I ever heard in my whole life were Nuptialis and Unum.” Now Hermione's head snapped up, as wide and intent on his. “But it wasn't something I knew beforehand. I was always the jealous berk who freaked out when Hermione even looked at another guy, and too insecure to tell her how much I loved her. How the hell was I supposed to know loving Hermione was a two man job? How was I supposed to know it would be a thousand times better with Harry there to help me do it?”

Now Harry was staring at him, too, his expression stunned.

“Look,” Ron continued, “all I'm saying is, this is not anything you come into prepared for. Nobody teaches you to think of true love coming in threes.”

Tonks finally looked up at him. “You think he'll come around, Ron?”

Ron nodded with his lopsided smile. “Yeah, I reckon. I mean, he was a Marauder. An' now he's got Sirius t' help remind him of it. Yeah, I reckon he'll come around.” He glanced over at Hermione, who was still staring at him with wide, shining eyes, and Harry, whose green eyes were only slightly drier. “What?”

This scene was so Ron that Rowling couldn't have done it better. It was like you channeled him. Open, honest, loving, and then just so damn oblivious that you want to smack him and kiss him senseless at the same time. *squees* You're wonderful. I worship you.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the lovely review!

I think things are going to move quite a bit more quickly for Harry and Ron's side of the equation. Now that that avenue is open for Harry, I think he's going to fairly explode down it, so to speak, as all his need to love and be loved has this opening to expand into. That sentence reads way, way dirtier than I intended! ;^)

I really like that scene with Ron, too, so I'm thrilled to have you comment on it!

Ron is simultaneously wise and clueless!  That makes him to much fun to write!

Thanks again for reading and reviewing. I always love hearing from you!

This was great! I've missed so much because of Finals!

Thankfully, I just happened to be awake at 6 in the morning and decided to catch up on reading I was behind on. This was fabulous!

FINALLY! I was gettinga bit impatient with Sirius and Tonks. I thought for sure they would be a bit more assertive at getting Remus to join in, but it seems that Sirius had a plan all along. ^_^

I remember the comment now that I read this chapter through. Hermione thinking a rule is stupid *gasp* is the Wizarding World coming to an end??? (Hope not, or Voldy will have a field day.)

This chapter was wonderful, as were the two before it. The ending to this was actually quite funny and the end...so sweet. You know it's love when you got two gorgeous guys rubbing all up on you and just touching them is enough to make you happy for the rest of the day. Lucky damn Hermione.

Author's Response: So glad you managed to squeeze in some Reading!

I'm very glad that the S/R/T trio has cleared the tower! They make such an enjoyable counterpoint to the Trio!

I've been waiting since reading your comment back on, what, Chapter Four? to do this scene with Hermione comforting Harry, and I so enjoyed writing it. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I want to thank you so much for taking the time to read and reviwe. Good luck (not that "luck" is a factor!) with the finals! You're going to do great!

Great!!!! That was hot and sexy and rather realistic. How easy it is to regret the lost time once you realized you lost it. And I love Ron's way of thinking. They're Wizards right? So why not add a little 'magic' and make up for lost time? Yeah, gotta love Ron. Sees the simplest solutions to all those troubles that come with age.

The thought that Harry might be a closet pervert who likes adolescent boys was just too much. I kept biting my lip to keep from snickering. And who doesn't like chocolate and sex? Chocolate frogs just make it more interesting. ^_~ Great job, this is definitely one of my favorites.
