Wow, this most certainly deserves a review (why more people don't review around here, I just don't understand). I found it absolutely incredible that you could write such a short story and still fit so much detail, and so much emotion, into it. Well, it was an emotional read, anyway. :D This is even more amazing because there was no actual emotion in the story. Everything was so matter-of-fact. Incredibly well-written, that. :D

 Wonderful job! A true surprise right up to the end. Bravo!
