Quite simply, wow. I think you conveyed Ron's emotions well. You captured his genuine fear perfectly! Very well done! I particularly liked the stroking the locket bit. It kind of made it seem as if the only thing he can trust is the horcrux. I'm not fully sure if you meant it to be like that, but it was awesome anyway! :-)
