I'm a big fan of Ron/Pansy and I liked this a lot. Dark and violent, though not quite as much as night and day. The humor was good. I thought killing Lucius with a gun was very appropriate, given how much disdain he's got for anything Muggle.
I thought the Ron/Pansy was well done, nicely understated. The end leaves me hopeful that they'll do alright, though in a world with happier endings they wouldn't have found each other. You even managed to make Draco sympathetic and I'm far from his champion.
The spare style really suited how much was absent in the story; a normal life, free use of magic, Hermione, Harry, Draco, most of the other Weasleys. This is the type of story that tells so much in a short space that I'd probably be happy if it was ten times longer.

She loves Ron so much that she doesn't want him to marry her because of the baby and then to be uphappy the rest of his life. She's feeling a bit smothered and then does an unwise Apparition. She befriends Draco, but knows that Ron will be upset so she keeps their friendship on the down low. And Draco...well, he's either the ultimate actor or he's fallen hard for her and doesn't know how to get out of it. I'd been meaning to read this for ages so I'm glad I did. I like the way you've developed R/Hr but I definitely don't quite understand what's driving Hermione, especially with Draco, but I can't wait to find out.

I liked the update. It's nice to see Ron and Hermione on track again, at least for the moment. I'm still suspicious of Draco, though, and Hermione's continuing to see him. But at least she seems more open about that now.
I liked the supporting characters in this chapter, too, from Harry's talking to Ron to Bill.
