This story, along with War and Passion was one of the first stories I had read and loved many years ago ( along with Barb's Pyschic Serpent trilogy) and I just realised that I had not left a review here. THis was indeed one of the first ones to show me a different side of hermione, the stubborn side that just refused to give may probably never get the chance to reveal to us what was going on from their perspective at the end of the War and Passion story.  It seems like their relationship is just doomed. and it is very depressing. But I still want to thank you for creating this scenario to give me things to think about with regard to -your- Ron and Hermione. In many ways this seems like the protoype characterisation for "More than Memories", which I am very glad you have updated recently.

oh! I really liked the concept behind this. It was really quite interesting thinking about how they'd react to something like that happening. I do have to say that if Ron was being forced to google potter on the internet, he'd probably find the higher rated art before the fic though, which would be FAR more disturbing and quite immediate in reaction.

I worote this intending it to be madcap comedy, But Harry's integrity as a character -- I felt I had a pretty good grasp on him and Hermione, but not so much on Ron -- made him more angsty than funny!

As to Ron's Google Search, I think it's a safe 
bet that Emma has "Safe Search" on in her 
Google  preferences! Yeah, that's the ticket! 

AHH!! Chapter 5  was up and I didn't know! I'm sitting here, wanting to know  what Harry thinks about all of this. Honestly. I don't want it to end up being simple. That wouldn't be  true to the situation. It has to have weight, meaning, consequence. SOMETHING. I'm just waiting for it.

As far  as it ending up simple, it won't.  Everybody's in too deeply for that to happen.  You're right, it wouldn't be true to the story.  That doesn't mean there can't be a happy ending, but it's not going to be neat or a smoot ride to get there.  We're going to start getting into some meaty stuff- I'm just trying to get a chapter of Wake Me written and then I'll be back to this one for a couple chapters.  :o)  Thanks, as always, for the support!  You're wonderful.  ::hugs::

I've been reading through your drabbles, getting a feel for your writing and all. This, as a way in which things could end with one of them dead, filled me with such joy. yey! I had  decided that I would use this fic as a rewards system for myself. I've just started to read it. I'm very much enjoying the prologue so far. The style is very  easy to read and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

hmm. I was a bit  taken aback by the things Molly said. Sure she's always been one to sometimes say things that aren't that nice, but it took a little leap of  faith to come to terms with what she said to Hermione about "having her eyes on Ron". That said, I did have a question with regards to the being stuck together thing. You mentioned the urination... but what about the other bodily function. I just find that a little odd, seeing as defecating is usually one of the most personal things humans do. I did like how Ron told off Sirius. But that's just personal satisfaction.

Author's Response: My take on Molly is that she didn't ever really think that of Hermione. I see Molly as beinmg a little bit judgemental, and a little too ready to strike out when she's hurt, with no thought that it can have consequences. Molly feels hurt. She's losing her little boy before she's ready. 
So she strikes out, trying to hurt as she hurts. Hermione, as the creator of the situation, is her immediate target.

Molly will regret her harsh words for the rest of her life.

Ah, I take back my comment about not liking Molly. Your characterisation of her is just a little different from what I think of as her personality. I still don't think she would have openly accused Hermione of being a whore (oh and the word whore is misspelled). I understand where Ginny is coming from. It also seems like a very Ginny like position to be coming  from. I just never would have expected her to be that  blunt about it with her parents (maybe her brothers, but not her parents).

Author's Response: Well, I think I esxplained my thinking on Molly in my response to your review of Chapter Two. And, BTW, no "Whoare" wasn't a misspelling. It's an old-fashioned spelling, implying an old-fashioned morality. It's how Molly thinks of it, and has raised Ginny to think of it.

What Molly really meant was, "I'm in pain because of what you did, so I want you to hurt, too." It's not, perhaps, the most admirable thing, but it's very human.

I love the banter between the trio and the random bits about  Ron's self worth. Looking forward to seeing what comes next
