I love how Ron messed with Hermione's diary. It is just such a Ron thing to do when he is trying to convince Hermione to spend the day with him instead of studying. I also loved how Hermione's parents seemed to be in favour of their daughter going out with her boyfriend and having a good time instead of staying home with her books.

Ron really does bring the best out in Hermione (and vise versa).

Thanks for the review. Ron could simply have asked, but I think that he enjoys baiting her, he needs a reaction. Sometimes he takes it too far.

In my opinion, despite their prickly and confrontational relationship, Ron can make Hermione relax enough to enjoy herself.
