Just read this one again. Really lovely. I love how you convey the intimacy between them, and the backstory with just a few words. Only one note: "a soft sound like the backfire of a car"? I never thought of a car backfiring as a soft sound! No matter, perhaps I missed the irony!

I could kiss you right now! That was brilliant! I love how all the characters are so very much themselves, and Ron and Hermione at the end made me want to cheer.
