Really, I love the series, and hope you keep on with it.  How their relationship develops is just lovely, and it's niether too sappy nor too emotionless.  It's got that wonderful quality of roiling emotions below the surface, those great huge ones that you can onl feel.  And you get the reader to feel them.  And the sex is bloody hot.

So thank you, and best of luck with your writing.  You have a remarkable and beautiful gift!

WOW... who would've thought that smelling would be such a turn-on?  And I love that Draco and Ron are still so faithful to canon, yet seem to fit together so well.  I never would have anticipated it, yet like it quite a lot!  Looking forward to the rest...

Author's Response: I'm so pleased that you find them both in character and canonically believable as well as being together. This was my second Ron/Draco, and it spawned a rather long story arc. You're such a gem to be reading them all at once! What a treat for me as an author. :)

So the tears pricking my eyes are a compliment to the tale.  Perhaps what I'm finding most rewarding about this series, actually, is how you portray the complexities of maintaining a relationship, rather than just forming one.  Ron's insecurities and neediness seem to be present, to some extent, in all of us, and how the partner handles it makes a tremendous difference, though, as you show here, no particular response works for everyone.  Most of all, it's so vividly apparent how much they all love each other, through the disaggreements and the squabbles and, at times, the hurt.  The ache of gratitude is a rare thing indeed to see in a fic, and I'm impressed to see the depth and breadth of emotions you successfully convey.  I'm looking forward to reading more.  Thank you for a beautiful fic.

Well, I do like how Ron's dealing with things.  And Martin is truly awesome!  I'm really really looking forward to seeing how Ron's confrontation with Harry goes.  Where has the boy gone?  What's he thinking?  Well, gotta keep reading...

So now there's this ridiculous tightness in my chest and tears in my eyes.  This just keeps getting better and better.  I am a bit surprised by Ron's hesitance to say anything back to Draco, as hiding what he's feeling doesn't seem like him.  I'm curious to see what happens next!!!

Author's Response: I'm very pleased that this story affected you emotionally. I think Ron was hesitant in his comment back to Draco because he's still struggling to be okay with it himself. He does get there; he's not really hiding it via his actions, but for as much as he knows he loves Draco, it's quite another thing to say the words aloud. I do hope you continue to enjoy the story arc and what they get up to!

I'm with Draco.  Why was Ron so bloody upset???  Sometimes he does just miss the obvious, doesn't he?  Draco's actually been going above and beyond his usual in demonstrating his affection (and I was totally enraptured by your depiction of his conversations with his cousin... she was awesome) while Ron is still fumbling.  His last line here, though, was perfect, and made me feel better.  "Nobody's asked me to stay for very long."  I get it.

Still, I feel like Ron could have been a bit more... emphatic, in his desire to keep Draco there.  Hmm... gotta read more...

Whoa freaky head case!  You certainly worked the reader around, though I'll admit I had a hard time placing just what universe I was in.  Still, for effect and artistic rendering, good on you!
