Wow. Why doesn't this story have like a hundred rave reviews? It's lovely. Yes, it's me again wandering through your catalog of work. I agree with the other reviewers that you write a wonder Ron. I love his noble struggle between loving caregiver and randy little bugger. I love the detail work as well - Ron's little speech to the tiny Gryffindor, Hermione giving up her cloak to care for Neville, oddly, enough, even the vomit. All the little touches make the story more immersive and real. Nice!

I don't know how I missed this one, but I've never read it. Oh, it's lovely, dear. The booties on the head and ensuing dizzy fit is darling, and the end...well what does one say...so, so nice. Is it cruel to say I loved the convulsion? I love emotionally naked Ron...(and all other varieties of nak....mutters something under my breath with a wry smile.)

YAY! new chapter! Hermione just gets a trophy for hardassity doesn't she? She is not showing any signs of weakness. much. I like her tiny glimmer at the end there, and that was a cute moment with Ron not moving his legs off her. They are pretty damn sweet :)

 

Also, Poor Harry. He is a glutton for punishment and terribly loyal to both Ron and Hermione to put himself through all of this crap. Bless him. And Ginny is going to have his ass for running off into the shadows. He's will be thrown out of her good graces and master bedroom for that. He's going to be the boy who lived on the sofa. :) Thanks for updating.

Oh, she is a kitten with a whip! I like Ginny unplugged. I think she must be a challenge to write, because canon doesn't give her much page count. She's sort of the least developed of the big four to me. She is always a bit more open to interpretation. Your Ginny is a really nice fit with this particular story... it's all high opera and big, bright red feelings, and your Ginny does not play. She will cut you. Also she is darn wry...“Well we both know that’s complete rubbish as the only reason you moved here was to get into my knickers!”  “Exactly!"

That's funny stuff.  

I have to say, i like Harry here, too. Poor little jerk didn't know what hit him.  

Oh, almost forgot. Love, LOVE the big hint drop of what Ron did. Oh, he has been a bad boy. Cannot wait to hear more. (hands rubbing together in glee.)

   OMG! I am speechless...floored! This is exactly how I picture Hermione in this story! *gushes* Now you are inspiring some scenes for me! Okay, okay she has to have gotten a scar on her face from somewhere...I have some ideas. Tattoos...she has to get those too! (I have quite a few ideas) I'm using what Ron is wearing in my story too! You've created a monster!!! Can I please, please put the link up in my chapter notes when she is a full fledged Shadow?! I'll buy you tubs and tubs of butter!!!!     You so deserve to smile! That photo captured the essence of what Hermione has become in the story! I have been giddy for hours! My husband thinks I've lost my mind! My Halloween goody bag is just chocked full of yummies! Two chappies from one missgranger is a holiday no matter what the date! I do so love all the action in this one little chapter. 

I can't stand how sweet and hot headed Ron is, and all broken and crying and wonderful. I like Harry summoning his cojones (from wherever I assume he was hiding them from Ginny. sista doesn't play) and telling Ron what for. 

All that, a bawling promise to fix our girl, a wall of heads and AWOL Charlie... well I may have a belly ache from all the goodies.

The chapter where he finally tells someone all about it was very upsetting to write. Wow, I loved this one! Ginny is hell on wheels, isn't she? I am starting to kind of love her. I adore the moment where she is happily choking the life out of Ron and with a free hand, downs Harry with a gut jab. Nice!

I also love Charlie's little bite toward Hermione and her shut down self. Flinty women.

But the award goes to slug hexing Ron. I love the two techniques (Ginny's vs. Harry's) that pick away at the behind the scenes story. I love how he reacts to both of them. Is it wrong to root for them to just pick until he explodes and spills it? I love that ginger, but I must know!

  I am glad you liked Ginny. I was kind of nervous to write the character of Ginny as I never felt I knew enough about her from the books. She doesn't take any crap off anybody in this story. I had such fun writing the argument between her and Ron. And no, it's not wrong of you to root at all. That very emotional chapter is coming up soon. okay, so it is wrong to start giggling with glee at the chapter title, because I so was. Wrath of David...squee heheheh. I was hoping he would rear his ugly, ginger head again...love, BTW that they mistook him for Ron. Nice clue dropping. I CANNOT WAIT, for Mr. Weasley to put 2 and 2 together on that one and begin the smacking down.

Okay, so WTF with David?!! Is he super duper or what with the blowing away of half a girl's flat? And since it's Hermione we are talking about, current circumstances notwithstanding, those have to be some pretty decent wards he blasted through. Grrr, I am busy hating him.

 I was loving the image of Ron and Harry as her big flanking guardian angels...thats so sweet and kinda sexy, and I am all misty and then she wakes up, takes one look and says...“Oh shite!  I’ve died and went straight to hell!” 

That is funny crap, love. All kinds of thank you for this chappie.

I am so glad you liked it! David is a complete psycho. I don't even think Hermione would have ever suspected him of doing such a thing.
