Thank you for updating. Like others have said I am glad you are feeling better. Not that I ever knew you were sick. In my mind you were not updating because you were off on a book signing tour for some great book you had written… after all your writing is that good.

I loved the chapter the tampon thing was classic. The way you are turning up the tension is a stork of genius nothing like an elephant in the living room all day to make you anxious and tense. I do hope you continue this it is quite good.

This was amazingly beautiful. This is truly about the love and emotions between them. This was the most intimate moment I have ever read. It was not about passion, or lust it was about cherishing your loved one. It was almost as if I was intruding on a real couple who were working out to heal each other after a real assault. When Ron showed his trembling hands he became every man who is one way to the world and vulnerable only to his love.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. This was an early writing for me and I wish it could have been better. My original plan for this story didn't include a love scene at all, but, well, I was rather hounded by some people to include it, heh. Over all I am glad to have written it, though it was veerrry tricky to capture the appropriate tone. ...not your average 'smut fic'.  I love that you mentioned his hands shaking, I had such a clear vision of that. hee.

Thank you!

I read this last night and I didn’t review but I found that that your story stayed with me. You were truly able to capture the depth of emotion in someone who is trying to escape reality and all the problems that go with it. I love how you brought out all the complexities of the Ron/Harry relationship and didn’t skip over the harder issues.

The only thing I would suggest is that maybe you could break this into two chapters, not because the story needs it but I got a strange gray bar in the middle of the story and I am guessing that it’s a computer issue because it was so long??

Author's Response: I'm glad it made such a lasting impression. I just wish I knew the exact formula for creating such an impression! It's all chance and luck. Sorry about the grey bar -- I'm not really au fait with technology beyond surfing, but I'll see what I can do! Thanks for reviewing.

I love the analogy of the train hurtling them on the future, very creative. Like how the whole story just keeps going faster until you are falling into the future with them. This was really good.

I just love gentlemen!Harry. I think it’s the perfect depiction of him. I find it both touching and believable that the savior of the world would be confident and nervous at the same time. I was so impressed with how well you were able to display he focus on his plan, which is also so very like Harry. I loved the drawing it was like others have said very original and all’s I can say about the shower is *giggle* yup.

Author's Response:

(sorry, I didn't get notification of your review)

I really appreciate your comments! Yes, it would be so much easier, and more fun, to write them just 'going for it' but I really wanted to write a Harry who, in spite of being man and having normal male desires, is still a young man trying to do the best he can with his less than perfect life. And being a 'gentleman' in regards to Ginny and the Weasley's is what he thinks will help.

Shower curtain. *bats eyelashes* :D

Wow, the raw emotion of this is nothing short of amazing. “I shove him away irrationally as it all begins to spill out. I pound on his chest with both fists, “you left me!” I have never read a sentence with so much power and emotion behind it. It was as if Harry was showing Ron his bruised and battered heart and letting Ron know that he was the only one who could heal it. The whole fic Harry was not facing his feeling but focusing on caretaking in a distractive way and when he faced it full on it was all pain. Only one way to heal pain like that and you did lovely with that as well.

Author's Response:

What lovely things to say, thank you so much! This was the first (and only) thing I've written in first person, I really enjoyed being in Harry's head for this one. Hee - as for their 'healing' well, I am a sucker for happy endings, especially for my boys. :D I really appreciate your read and review - thank you!

That was simply beautiful. The picture you painted with words was amazing. I can ‘see’ every move hear every breath. Love is often complex and sometimes if you ignore the complexities you get perfect moments that you depicted both with her parents and with the two couples. This was out standing.

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words. You are right love is often complex and I think that sometimes in fiction, and in life, you need to ignore that in order to really have a moment that you- and others need. If that makes sense at all. Again thank you.

I love this story. You have done a wonderful job on Ron. Both his humility and his pride is just so perfectly him. I liked Gus and I am sorry that his heart got broken. But that is the way love is. It’s almost always painful to someone.  He was a very good character with being perfect in his imperfection. It is a gift to get me to like an original character as much as I liked him. I love the magical creatures and how you use this world.

That was so fun to read. It  did take me a few sitting. I LOL at Bob being a headmaster. In fact I laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. Praise Bob. I liked how you took everything out of the universe to be able to only focus on the emotions. That was such a creative idea. This was very imaginative and fun to read. I so liked the friendship between Victor and Ron.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you recognized Mr. Prince-Hedges' other identity! Yes, I  had the image, but never thought as far until just now, but he is, indeed, Bob!

I liked how you took everything out of the universe to be able to only focus on the emotions. That was such a creative idea.

I'm so pleased that you said that! When I started writing, I was half-afraid it would come off as self-impressed, self-indulgent, pretentious, "Waiting-for-Godot"-wannabe tripe! So whenever someone mentions it working for them, I appreciate it.

I so liked the friendship between Victor and Ron.

Me, too. They were such a fun team to write.

So thank you, thank you, thank you, for hte very kind review!

I can picture Ron and Jim’s fast paced conversation with your great descriptions of their faces. This is a very good mystery and I am so looking forward to the next chapter.

Outstanding! I could never begin to do justice to this with my words. This was so realistic and poetic at the same time. The emotions you depicted in your work were honestly mirrored in me as I read this. I felt for Harry, I understood his depression and hopelessness, and his lost sense of self was brought out so clearly. Ron’s confusions were real and he struggled with them the way are real person would. The triangle is said to be the strongest form, this is that triangle in words.
