Oh, this was great! I'm a huge Quantum Leap fan, and I've been really disappointed in the couple of QL/HP crossovers that I've managed to find.

 You really got the characterisations perfectly, and you're right, Sam is such a Gryffindor. And I think Al'd be a bit of a Slytherin ...

Yeah, Sam's pretty much the quintessential Gryffindor--one of the best of them.  Al has some Slytherin qualities, but he's got that Hufflepuff loyalty as well.  (So does Sam, for that matter.)
