Author's Response: It was honestly the first thing I thought of when I saw the prompt - "Hermione strikes again!" But to make it believeable that she'd do something so horrible as set bees on Ron, I had to really focus on her self-absorption, and make her drunk into the bargain. I don't know how well this story will go down with hardcore Hermione fans, because it's not a very flattering angle to see her from. It was also very difficult to write an angsty hurt/comfort and still make it light enough for the specs of the challenge! I kept reading it back and cringing, because Ron is so miserable, it's a bit heavy for the funny and fluffy theme.

Yay! I absolutely adore the way you used "the birds and the bees" prompt. The description of the bee-stings had me cringing though!
My favourite part
He stepped forward and hugged me, and I let myself be hugged. I let him wrap his arms tight around me while I sniffled and cried into his shoulder, and only minutes later I let him unbutton my shirt while I kissed him desperately.
