Go Neville! That was a joy to read. I'm glad that Ginny was his first crush, but that he realized that they weren't meant to be. I think Hannah is a good match for him, and I can see them being really happy together.

Neville is such a great character. He completely evolved thru the book series. Lovely, and quite timely, little story.

Happy Christmas Northumbrian! What a lovely, unexpected surprise to pull up this touching tale and see it is dedicated to me! I can't think of a better gift. I have alwys thought that Neville carried a well hidden torch for Ginny for years. But we al grow up and move on (if we are wise), and I'm glad Neville has found a nice girl for his own.

Neville did ask Ginny to the Yule Ball, and she went with him. I like to think that he recognised something in her (and she recogtnised something in him) long before either of them matured.
