The thought of discussing sex with Uncle Vernon would be enough to put Harry off it for life (well, almost!). This was a beautiful story. Harry handled a very sensitive subject just right!

Thanks for the laugh, and for the advice! I thought of my ten year old son and the TALK in his future the entire time I was reading. I liked the practicality, the matter-of-factness, I suppose, that Harry gave out with. And I very much liked that he did his best to let Teddy, (sorry, Ted,) know that every boy goes through the same thing. (and that he dropped hints about being a gentleman.) I'll try to keep this in mind here in a few months or years!
