Nice. I think you may have given Ron a bit much credit in making sure that Lavender got hers. Teenage boys are notoriously bad on that point unless they've had "guidance". Ron didn't seem to have much in the way of prior "guidance." The interaction with Hermione and Lavender was very well done though.

While I am also die-hard R/Hr, I also feel for poor Lav. She likes a boy who is confused, that's all! I certainly can't blame her for liking him, and I can't blame Ron for responding to her attention either. Great story!

I have to admit that I wasn't going to read this simple because I'm a die-hard R/HR fan, but given the spirt of movie six coming out in a few more months, I figured why not. It was an interesting read and you've got the smut down well, and the characters seem to fit into there roles. I'll try to like the idea of R/L but I'm having a hard time with it. But I'm curious to see where this goes. Can't wait for the next chaper..cheers!!

While I have never been much of a fan of Lavender/Ron, this is really well written and nicely detailed. I surely cannot blame her for wanting Ron. I also think you write Ron well here- you have his speech patterns down perfectly. Great work!
