I love you. Best use of a "prompt" ever =P

Author's Response: It was vaguely based on an actual conversation I had with Emma years ago, when her parents brought Penguins back from England when they visited family. Because the little packets have Penguins on the outside, I expected the biscuit inside to at least have a penguin stamped on it, if not be in a penguin shape. I was a bit disappointed when it just turned out to be a second-rate Tim Tam.

Take it from an Aussie, Tim Tams are by far the superior product.  Like anything English (Cricket anyone?) the Brits invent it but we perfect it.

Wonder how Ron would react to Vegemite? Smiley

Author's Response:

I know they are! You don't have to convert a fellow Australian!

Bahaha! I actually wrote a Ron VS Marmite story for a British pal's birthday, but it's on my fiction journal, not TQP. It's called A Cautionary Tale.

Yay penguins!

Author's Response: I felt it was only sensible to accomodate our new overlords at The Penguin Pitch. ;)

Tim Tams FTW! I can't believe they aren't imported everywhere!

I love Ron. Muggle things confuse him so...

Author's Response:

Tim Tims are the most delectable morsels of chocolatey goodness. Penguins just weren't the same, in my opinion.

I think Ron's thinking of Chocolate Frogs, and is wondering why something called Penguins wouldn't be shaped like a penguin. I must admit, it bemuses me.
