what a clever and observant cat/kneazle crookshanks is! and he and ron both try to take care of hermione. this was hilarious and very sweet too.

This is brilliant.  I never really considered before how one could accurately capture the p.o.v. of a cat/kneazle, but I think you've pulled it off fabulously.  The bit about the spider making Redboy into Whiteboy made me absolutely guffaw.  I also like the sweetness without sentimentality-- that Crookshanks can recognize that Redboy takes care of Brownmummy without this becoming saccarine.  Nice work.
