I'm not sure that I am a supporter of the tragic hero!Snape view of the character. However, I must admit that this story interests me strangely.
How would Snape view his contribution to Wizarding history? Certainly, JKR, in the scene set in the Heavenly Kings' Cross, implied that his soul would never be at peace as he could never forgive himself for his own actions.
This is an interesting start, but I would like to see a bit more of the main characters - Snape, Dumbledore and Harry - and see them come to some measure of an understanding of each other, even if both of the older wizards have committed sins that can never be honestly forgiven.
