Ooh, what a great take on this part of the book! I love the insight into Lily. (and I love the word ignominious, too! Nice job!) I have chills all over as I finish this. It's very well written!
Author's Response: Thank you! This is one of my favorite parts of the book to begin with, then, once I started writing this fic, it resonated even more because I identified with Lily as a parent. Thank you.
