Author's Response: I've got several ideas for an expanded story but very little time to write them I'm afraid. I'd planned this as pretty much a one shot but if I get the time I might expand a bit, if not on this story then on the universe that it's in.

That was great. I'm guessing Millie is Millicent Bulstrode.
Author's Response: You'd be guessing right. I read a couple of interesting stories a while back, I can't remember where now, one of which had Millicent as a more thoughtful girl than was otherwise apparent and another that had Dudley falling for her. I liked the idea that there was more to Millie than might have met the eye so when I wanted Dudley's child to be magical there was really only one candidate for mum.
