Soooooooooooo happy you're back!
I enjoied this chapter. AD strolling out of the lake like a metro-station ...
But don't you think Ron's a little too mature and insightfull meanwhile? Do you remember the "... Dumbledore with his thumb up his ass ..." tirade? Don't let Hermione rub off too much on her husbands. (Don't get me wrong, I still love her). You depict all the characters very lively.
Thanks a lot for resuming!
Thanks very much for reading and reviewing! I always appreciate it.
I've always felt Ron is a lot more insightful than people give him credit for -- in fact I think the "Albus sodding Dumbledore with his Gawp hanging open and his thumbs up his arse" speech is a very insightful one, understanding both how Hermione's quick action saved them, and adult authority, in the form of Dumbledore, failed them. So I think it's appropriate, especially within the confines of their marriage, for him to put his insightfulness to use -- all the more so when it comes to Understanding what Hermione has to say about Harry. Understanding how his loves think is one of Ron's greatest talents.

welcome back wonderful chapter. I think they are starting to get it. Your Dumbledore is finely crafted. You see the man behind the wizard. lovely
Thank you so much for the kind welcome! I hope not to be as slow from here on out, but I really can't promise. I really, really do want to finish this novel, though. The Trio are indeed really starting to get it, both how to be a Trio, and what taking on and defeating Tom Riddle will really mean, and that's all the exciting part, to me.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows introduced us to a wonderfully human and fallible Albus Dumbledore, so much more compelling than the wise, sweet, all-knowing mentor we associated him with, and I really needed to let that come to the fore here, with Harry's increased determination to "take charge" playing a role. I think the novel is much the stronger as a result.
Thanks again for reading and reviewing.

You're back! I had begun to think this great story would join the sad ranks of abandoned fics. Loved the update, keep it coming! :)
While there is breath in my body, and the words "The End" haven't appeared, I will never abandon this fic. That's a promise. For that matter, I've actually made arrangements -- this is not a joke -- that if I croak before I finish it, unnamed agents will release details of my planned ending, so you'll know how it came out!
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, and I'm very glad that after all these months, you still welcome more.

this was my second time reading this story before writting a review and with good reason. first off, praises for making this story actually GREAT enuff to want to read twice. please dont take that harsh, but a lot of ppl write things that are only worth the once-over and that ur writing isnt one of those things, u should take great pride in that. as for the story itself, i love the way u weaved all three characters together. i am a big fan of trio stories--especially the dirty ones, and i was not disappointed here. it made perfect sense that the they were bonded forever becuz since the troll in year 1, its always been the three of them. the only concern that i had was on the ending. while i'm all for the hotness, i thought since u seemed to be following DH although with ur own twists and turns here and there i was curious as to know if they did some of that awesome three-way fighting to defeat riddle in the end or something equally spectacular and then after they healed up....we get to the hotness and possibly explore ron entering harry or vice-versa. i'm not complaining this was a great read and i'm sure i'll be going over it a few more times should i feel the need. but those were just my own thoughts; that a few things were sorta left unsaid...u kno? still great story. thanks!
Author's Response: This story is very much not finished -- I'm working on the next chapter right now, in fact! -- and I fully intend to resolve the matter of Voldemort before I'm done. Stay tunes, and thanks for the lovely review.

I simply love your story! The writing style is very convincing and JK-rowlingish, so you should be proud. I think you should be claimed as somewhat king for doing this.... especially this chapter is so beautiful and I love how Ron is pulled between jealousy and arousal. Hermione's innocence is splendid aswell.. Great work!
I'm a moviemaker for The Sims 2 fan movies, and I would love to make a simmovie with parts from your story. We could work together. :)

So glad your back!!!! Great chapter. Loved how Harry understood Hermione's anger. Hot sex too can't ask for more. Oh well another chapter but with your stories that is a given.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Harry's insight really surprised me, but pleased me as well. Glad I brought the Hot, but I hope I brought some story interest as well!
I'll be back with more chapters as soon as I can!

Fantastic, as always!
I just can't tell you how pleased I was to have an alert in my email that you'd updated (I'd say "finally" but then you'd just throw stones at me for promising I'd start loading Second Trimester at TFT and I've not gotten 'round to that yet).
You should know, however, this fic is again not showing up on the "most recent" page. I had to go through the search menus to get to it ... which it's certainly worth doing, but anyone without an alert set would miss it.
As for this particular installment, thank you for giving me a reason to retrieve the spare knickers from my purse. I think they were feeling abandoned in there! But this chapter, coming hot on the heels of my having been to see Equus last Friday ... let's just say it didn't take long to need them...
Oh ... and one little point. I think it's the Holyhead Harpies rather than the Holyfield Harpies. I'm at work and can't check my books, and the Lexicon seems to have vanished.
Thanks so much for the great review! I must admit, finding the hawt at Hogwarts has been harder for me than I expected, and finding a way to crack open the memories from HBP this story was difficult as well. Hermione's social-justice drive gave me the first key, and Harry's insight into what lay behind part of it gave me the rest.
Glad to help you exercise those fingers, I'll check the Harpies when I get home from work and fix the name if necessary. (Lexicon gone? That would suck an awful lot!)

Lovely story with an original idea. It's a very entertaining read, and I'm very much looking forward to future installments.
Out of curiosity, did you get your Britspeak from Mad Martha's stories? It's a nice effort, though not always successful.
It does bug me a bit when inexperienced teenagers have sex that good in a story, but I guess that's common in fiction ...
They're also a bit too calm and mature about all this - you'd think they would freak out when it sinks in that they're forever magically bound and legally married, and that there would be more tension and aggression especially in the early days.
Don't get me wrong, though, it's a great story.
BTW, you might find this interesting: http://www.slate.com/id/2192282/
Always great to get a review I can sink my teeth into!
My Britspeak comes from 47 years of Anglophilia. (Well, okay, maybe just 40. I don't think I knew enough before age 7 to be an Anglophile!)
I do agree that the Trio are having better sex than kids that age really would. My (lame) excuse is that this is fantasy. People apparate, cast spells and come back from the dead through drapery.
As to them being too calm... I think they did a fair bit of freaking out between Chapters One and Two, but I also have to say, as a long-time Trio-shipper, this is, to me, where they have always belonged anyway. I see them as having so much love and trust between the three of them that having a situation of mutual trust like this enforced on them is no big thing. I'm not really explaining it that well, but it's about their mutual trust. As it's the three of them, whatever they face together is all right.
A very dear friend sent me the Salon link a few months ago, and you're right, it's a great and fascinating read that sheds a lot of light on what I'm doing here.
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, and I'm glad that, even with your reservations, you're enjoying it.

And she spun on her heel and marched from the room, leaving Draco staring after the flow of her robes and long red hair.
do i see some GW/DM shipping being foreshadowed??
Author's Response: Ah, but that would be telling!
