I'm with Draco.  Why was Ron so bloody upset???  Sometimes he does just miss the obvious, doesn't he?  Draco's actually been going above and beyond his usual in demonstrating his affection (and I was totally enraptured by your depiction of his conversations with his cousin... she was awesome) while Ron is still fumbling.  His last line here, though, was perfect, and made me feel better.  "Nobody's asked me to stay for very long."  I get it.

Still, I feel like Ron could have been a bit more... emphatic, in his desire to keep Draco there.  Hmm... gotta read more...

Author's Response: Yes, Ron's still Ron and at this relatively early juncture in their relationship, he simply still has a knee-jerk reaction to some of Draco's comments. Draco really is trying, and Ron's still not as self-aware and self-expressive as he could be. Glad that the last line worked for you; he has some issues to work through. Ron definitely did want to stay with Draco, but sometimes his mouth/heart/brain combination doesn't fire in an ideal way to express that.

That was simply amazing.

"Wouldn't know," Ron said, shrugging slowly. "Nobody's asked me to stay for very long."

That must be the saddest line I've ever read.

Author's Response: Sorry to be so terribly belated in responding to your kind review! I'm pleased that the story affected you; Ron in this 'verse has had a rough time of it in the relationship department, and is pretty self-deprecating about it.

Author's Response: Thank you so very much! I'm working on what I believe will be the final installment, but I doubt I'll ever stop writing R/D. Thank you for reading and for your enthusiasm.

Nice to see things from Draco's POV here.  I enjoy how Malfoysian he still is, but softened slightly, more adult.   Fun stuff with his girlfriends in the club!   Bang on that he'd resist his impulses, especially considering his and Ron's history.  And again, your Ron is purely, unfailingly, ADORABLE!  I loved the lines about Ron never having hidden an emotion in his life;  he's so open, and honest.  And I nearly melted when Ron told Draco how no one had ever told him that he was loved before...GUH!

And the tightrope imagery was perfect!  Superb, Thev!

Author's Response:

If you were at all interested, I'd be having your babies now. :D

Thank you so much for your review; it was weird writing from Draco's POV, but I enjoyed it as I could show much more of how he really feels, since Ron doesn't often see it. So glad you didn't think the tightrope part was over the top; it was quite a risk Draco was taking. I'm a puddle of goo; many, many thanks for your comments.
