This is at least the 3rd time I have read this story. I absolutely LOVE it! I don't even have any constructive criticism to offer except to go a little easier on yourself!! I don't think this chapter was choppy at all. Sure, it skipped spaces of time, but if nothing was going on, why should you write them?

Very good story.
I love the plot and the characters.
Here and there a little long winded though. and sometimes too concentrated on the leading characters, such as the Hogsmeade scene, where the village appeares like a ghost town.
All in all I enjoyed reading that story a lot!

I fell in love with this story 2 years ago in another site, but I found it once again here, and as all the big loves in our life are never forgotten, I reread it and I got addicted once again.. Well... I have to admit I don't play chess, but you made it quite simple and understandable in this chapter (15 - Checkmate).
This final part for sure was one of the best things I've EVER read. Really EVER. I loved it SO much!
I think it's so good you should consider posting ir separetedly somewhere, because it can easily stand on its own.
Now I'm off to chapter 16!
PS: Did I mention I LOVE this story? Your timeline, plot and writting style are impecable. Congrats!
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) Truthfully, that chapter was a lot of fun to write. Can't you just picture Mad-Eye's face when he realizes that not only has he been beaten by a bunch of kids, but they have the gall to rub his nose in it. HA!
